We’re sure like many women you’ve been unable to avoid the football over the past few weeks - the European Championships have officially kidnapped our men and even some of our girl friends (apparently, not all girls are adverse to the beautiful game!). Now, this is a huge disappoinment. Many of us at my-wardrobe HQ assumed we’d have a football free social life - England didn’t even qualify so what’s all the fuss? But no such luck. Nevertheless, we embraced the competition and while watching Spain grab their victory in the Italy match earlier this week, it got us thinking about - you guessed it - fashion! Would Spain have won in a fashion showdown at my-wardrobe.com?

The Donna dress by Saloni is fabulous with its voluminous ruffle front definitely edges out in front if you’re after that Senorita sex appeal. But what if that was in a race with the pink and orange scarf by Missoni Accessories - an Italian must-have which will update your wardrobe in an instant? Which side to support? Or what about the patent court shoes by Pedro Garcia versus the Agatha bag by D&G Dolce & Gabbana which are both classics so even trickier to call? We could do this all day and we still couldn’t choose!

So, we say forget the football and focus on the fashion - there are so many ways to play the game!
