So back from Egypt, the memories of poolside lounging are now a distant memory and the tan already feels as though it deserted me at Cairo airport. There are bonuses however, thanks to a lapse of concentration during my Egyptian stay, I found myself brushing my teeth with tap water…

Forget walking like an Egyptian, I was running, quickly from the pool to the room every 20 minutes.  I have dropped a dress size and come back feeling slimmer, but not healthier, than before. It was a rather extreme form of weight loss, not advised for the faint hearted and probably will all come back on after a week of Pret a Manager lunches and the after work drinks. Sadly I still have not accepted that I’m never going to naturally be a size 10 and I certainly don’t have the will power to make myself go to the gym. 

The bonus of being back is seeing the new AW collections arriving into the warehouse. The Buyers have done an amazing job for AW as you will see, and the collections are stronger than ever with McQ, Anya Hindmarch, Ozzie Clark and Mulberry to name a few new brands coming onboard.  I suppose the bonus of having such a miserable summer in the UK, is that we can start wearing our AW pieces sooner, rather than later.  Always look on the bright side of life hey!
